Learn To Swim Program was created by Water Waves to help families with financial challenges to obtain swimming lessons for their children. Community members & companies donate funds to be distributed to families in need of swimming lessons. Every child should have the chance to learn how to swim. After years of working in the aquatics industry, we have heard from many families that are unable or can only provide a minimum lessons for their children. With prices rising for everything, we would like to continue to support these families. 2021, with the help of our sponsors, Water Waves helped raise over $20,000 and with obtaining swimming lessons.
This year we are looking for to sponsor one of more children in 2023. Water Waves will be working down our list Helping each child register for one swimming program per year. our goal is 10 thousand Water Waves will add up to $3000 to our learn to swim budget if we can match this years donations to this number. Giving the learn to swim program a total of $13,000 this year, this will help children receive 577 lessons this year!

These parks are located in Kelowna, Peachland, Penticton and Osoyoos. Has donated a total of $1000 for this years lear to swim funds. They have also put togeather two teams that will compete in this years Fundraser lifeguard events!

We have worked hard to provide funds for this program. Should you need help covering the cost of your child's lesson anyone is able to apply.
Please note that these funds does not cover the cost of pool drop in families will be responsible for paying the Penticton facility for their child's drop in fee each time on their scheduled lesson.
